Is there a spot just outside the beach where one can go snorkelling without having to rent a boat or go on an excursion ?

Hello ACHOI,
I don't think you will find any public spot to go snorkeling. There is one area to go to the public beach surrounded by little shops. But the water there is very rough and never seen anybody snorkeling. There is another area that I went (sorry that I cant recall the names) that is isolated BUT same problem, rough water plus the reef right there. I would say to pay a day pass in a resort in the area and do it there.. will be safer.
