I've found a reasonable hotel but the parking cost is out of site, more than some hostels , is there a reasonable parking spot downtown?

Nope .. parking is expensive
But there are a number of reasonable motels just north of downtown at the periphery of Seattle Center and along 5th & 6th avenues that have free parling (Best Western, Holiday Inn Express, etc)
