Penang English Afternoon Tea in Penang.

I wonder where can I find a good place for an English Afternoon tea in Penang? I mean the whole work - scones, sandwiches, etc. I will be there on monday. Would either the Bellevue Hotel up on Penang Hill have it or the E&O? Any other places?

No, I don't know where you could go do that in Penang. The best place for that sort of thing in all Peninsular Malaysia is up in the Cameron Highlands.

Yeah heard david brown is good. But isn't Penang hill train closed for like 6 months. They should pay compensation to those doing business up the hill and to tourist. :p

The best place I know is the E&O Hotel in Georgetown. Lovely Hotel with great service and view of harbour from the terrace.
