hi,
even though vodafone nz website says that you can roam with a 3G handset does any one know if it actually works in seoul. We are travelling there in October to visit Hanssin Elementry School and wish to use our current phones. |

I cannot speak for the NZ issued phone, but Australia's vodafone does have a working roam in Korea. If NZ phone is same as Oz phone, then it should work.
When you get off the plane, turn it on and test it. If it does not work, there will be several places inside the airport to rent a phone.

You need a 3G handset - a triband phone or dualband phone won't work (like Japan). There is international roaming from most providers - this is definitely a 1st world country and the home of Samsung!
