Forum Question Posted By: Replies:
Central & Eastern Thailand Home stays and want to meet other Mental Health therapists
Posted: Mon June 23, 2008 02:11 PM UTC
I would like to do some home stays during my trip in July. I am wondering how I go about setting this up? I am a mental health therapist and would love to meet up with another therapist for a day, go to his/her work and maybe have lunch together. Do you know how I might get in contact with some local therapists?

This has to be one of the more strange forum requests. I reckon you send an email to one of the big hospitals, Bumrungrad, Samitivej and see if they will meet with you.

thanks... I know it sounds strange, but really I just want to see how Therapists in Thailand compare to therapists here. It is interesting to exchange stories.

Interesting. I always thought that Thais dealt with mental health the same way as they deal with gays i.e. with ridicule?
