Dear Members,
I am an Indian citizen and currently working in Toulouse, France. For my return back to India I want to book Toulouse (TLS) to Delhi - Indira Gandhi (DEL) Brussels Airlines Flight SN 3676 and SN 8125 for which i have to change the flight at Brussels. My question is that whether do i need transit visa/ Airport transit visa as my france (+1 Transit schengen) visa is expired and currently holding only recipt of Carte de sejour (Temporary resident card)which is valid up to 04/08/2008. I am waiting for your response. Thanking you very much. |

Hi - if you are only changing flights, normally you would not need a transit visa. Since your Schengen (& French) visa has expired though, I would call the Belgian consulate in France to confirm. Happy Travels!

Assuming that you will not overstay your French visa/residence permit, no additional visa is required for the Schengen (Toulouse-Brussels) leg of your trip. Your passport will only be stamped in Brussels once you leave the Schengen area, not in Toulouse.
