Frankfurt am Main Store Luggage for a few days.
Posted: Mon June 23, 2008 12:52 AM UTC
Hi,

I will be in Frankfurt on the 3rd of July. I will be leaving to Rome for 10 Days then back to Frankfurt again. Is there any place I can store a large bag long term (10 Days)? The airport is way too expensive so maybe a local storage space or something can do the trick for me. Let me know.

There is luggage storage at the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof). You have to check it in, and a day would cost 5 Euro. You cannot use the lockers as 72 hours is the limit.

Check here:

(Gepäckaufbewahrung)

Depending on where you stay before you leave Frankfurt - if you go back to the same accommodation you can perhaps talk to them, and they will store it for you.

Luggage storage at Hauptbahnhof is more expensive than the one at the airport.
For normal luggage EUR 5,00 vs. EUR 3,60 per day.

If you stay overnight in Frankfurt when arriving and also when returning you could do this with the same hotel and ask them (best in advance) to keep your luggage for the 10 days.
