Group of 2 plan to stay in Brasov for 3 nights in August and would like to find a nice 3 to 4 star hotel or pensions nearby the central railway station as we will travel by train on day trip basis to Sighisoara, Sinaia and Sibiu.

Hi,
As a good option, you can try the small town of Zarnesti, close to the great Piatra Craiului National Park. It is some 30 km away from Brasov-you can use this as a base for your planned day-trips around. I travelled to Braşov by train and stayed at Hotel Bella Musica. It is a very nice 3 star hotel and has a great restaurant.
