What's the weather like in New Caledonia during August and October? Is it too cold for the beach in August? Cheers |

Probably the best time of year given it's warm and (usually) dry. As with anywhere there's always the risk but the beach is usually fine in August. I was at the beach yesterday and got a little sunburnt.
