hello to all i am traveling with my family to san diego from los angeles...we will be staying in super8 motel in mission valley quallcomm..i was wondering if anyone could recommend good inexpensive places to have lunch and dinner..maybe around mission valley..i am traveling with a 6 yrs old...thanks a lot

I'm assuming the reference to 'Quallcomm' means the Super8 at 4380 Alvarado Canyon Rd.

For huge servings at modest prices try JV's Mexican restaurant at 1112 Morena Blvd. It is about 3 miles west on I-8, then 3/4 mile north on Morena.

Also, there should be a cluster of cheap places catering to the SDSU students about 1 mile east and 1/2 mile south.
