Hello there, we are flying into Trieste airport in September to cruise from the cruise terminal in Trieste,this will be a Sunday , so we are looking for transport by bus , as we believe the taxi fare is very expensive , could anyone help with the time it will take us also are the buses reliable on a Sunday and if we get to the city by bus is the port farely near? Thanks

Hi there,
To get yourselves from the airport to the city centre, there is a shuttle service that operates every 2 hours from 1030am every day(incl Sundays). Th cost is 8 Euros each. The airport is about 30 kms from the ity centre. The port is accessible by bus no.8 from Stazione Centrale and runs every 20 minutes heading toward Campo Marzio. Get off at Rive.
