| Kenya | Starting to plan a trip Posted: Fri June 20, 2008 05:23 PM UTC
Hi. My name is Greg, and I'm new to this site. I love traveling, and I've been to many places around the world. I haven't been to Africa yet, though. I know a few people who have been to Kenya, and they loved it. I've heard about recent political troubles there, but I've also heard that it's still safe. I'm not sure when I'm going to go yet; I haven't booked anything. I do know that I want to go on a safari. I found this website. www.eyesonafrica.net that creates customized safaris and tours for small groups. It sounds really interesting. Tell me what you think.

My brother was scheduled to go to Kenya in July to do medical work and his group has postponed their trip until October due to the current problems in the area he was traveling to. Send an email to your embassy in Kenya and ask them for an opinion on the areas you plan to visit and the dates you want to go (be specific). They'll have the most up-to-date information and will give you an honest answer. You can do a Google search for contact information for the embassy you need.

Could be a coincidence but as you have posted the same question on the South Africa Forum it might be thought that you are advertising that website.
If you read the Forum Guidelines you will see that advertisements are not allowed on VT.

If you have something to say, why don't you say it here? In my opinion it's very bad form to try to switch the discussion from one forum to another.
