I want to change Forint to Indian Rupees in Budapest. I am sure it cant be done in Chennai(Madras) in India. What is the best places to change in Budapest?

I've never seen Indian Rupees at any exchange office in Budapest. Actually, Hungarian National Bank does not announce any official exchange rate for Rupees, maybe that also means it cannot be exchanged directly.

You could change your money to euro or dollar and after to forint in Hungary

Hello!
I know a change in the downtown of Budapest that advertises itself: we change all the currencies of the world. Maybe even Indian Rupee is changed there. It is in the Fehér Hajó street (1min. from Deak square-big junction where each subway stops). Otherwise I also think that it'd be better if you change at home Rupee to Euro and here Euro to Forint.(less risk). Best wishes, Csaba
