Mobile Ferry services?

I know there is a ferry from Mobile to Dauphin Island, but I'm looking for a little longer trip. Does anyone know of any ferry along the gulf coast that will ferry you to Mexico or something similar? I'm just looking to go on some type adventure, so any suggestions are welcome :)

I don't think a ferry would be able to make the trip all the way to Mexico. But, look into Carnival Cruise -- they've got a ship that has a home port in Mobile!

@drnigelc, I'm looking to go one way and stay for awhile... A cruise isn't exactly what I'm looking for because I just want to go straight to my destination. A long travel time is not a problem, though.

@travelguruz, do you have a link or phone numbers for those?
