Hello all,

I'm booking this train between these cities (Pau Casals train from Zurich, and Joan Miro from Barcelona) and am taking my child onboard.

Elipsos have said I can book a double cabin here in Australia (since Australian sites are useless for booking an adult and a child sharing), and then pay the supplement for the child directly onboard.

Has anyone done this or does anyone know how to do this? Obviously I assume I would have to purchase it from somewhere BEFORE boarding the train, so can you let me know where in Zurich I purchase this from? And also where in Barcelona? Do I just go to the train station where we depart from, and say to the ticket person I want to add a child supplement to my already booked tickets?

I should also add in there we are 2 adults and one child, hence the double room, and the child will share the bed with me.

It Elipsos says you can buy the supplement on board than you can buy it on the train, you don't need to go to a ticket office.

But if you want to be sure (to have enough money on you etc...) you can go to the international ticket office in the main station in Zürich, where they will be able to sell you any suplement you still might need, and this both for the Zürich to Barcelona, and the Barcelona to Paris trains.
