Has anyone stayed here before? Any negative/positive feedback ? How far is it from the temples? Thanks

No feeedback - haven't stayed there.

200m to Pawon Temple
700m to Borobudur Park entrance
1.5 km to Mendut Temple

Hi,
I have never stayed there, but I visit Tingal property in Jakarta several times.
It belongs to family of former minister of Indonesia Government. They have business in cafe as well.
My experience at Tanah Tingal in Jakarta, the place is homey and the food is good. I think their service in Yogya is not different from Jakarta.

Hi,
Just consider that the hotel is only around Borobudur temple, means only for visiting Mendut temple (small but nice to visit) and Pawon which isn't really nice one) If you want to go to prambanan or Yogya (40 km, so 1 h drive)
Anyway the hotel has a traditional style and there are some arts exhibitions arranged at the hotel so if you're lucky you may have an opportunity to see local artists showing their works.
