You might get a better response if you gave more personal information and the circumstances under which you are seeking English schools in Montreal. Quebec has strict laws about who can attend English schools so it is impossible to give you an answer especially when you're not even saying if you're looking fro primary, secondary, cegep, or college schools. for primary and high school, one of the parents have to had attended english school for a child to attend english schools.
private schools is an options, but again, as they receive some funding, i believe most private schools require a parent to have attended an english school. some high schools do not require any parents having attended english schools, there is no funding and they are much more $ (but nothing compared to usa)... try LCC (lower canada college) as for universities, mtl universities are the same cost (i believe) and one would just apply. ex of english unis would include mcgill and concordia m
