hi! were planning to go surfing in daet. where would you suggest we stay for the weekend? cheap hotels or camping grounds maybe..thanks!

you may bring a tent along with u so can camp at the beach. no problem for bath & shower room, the stores alongside the beach offer their shower rooms for a minimal fee. bagasbas beach is about 10 min drive from daet, in daet many hotels to choose from but do not expect luxury, wiltan hotel is where i stayed, good enough for me.

If you want a beach front place, I highly recommend the Governor's Place a.k.a. Tourist Inn. Great location, clean accommodations. I wrote a travel tip about this place (and posted a picture of it too) under Daet Hotels/Accommodations. Do check it out :-)
