Hello! I will be in Helsinki for three weeks in August, for a course at the Helsinki School of Economics. I searched the Internet and I already know what to visit, this site especiallz helped me. I have a few questions for Helsinki residents. What are the places that young people hang out? What do zou do for fun? What shouldn't I miss in Helsinki? If some of you are in Helsinki that time(4-22 august) or living there, I''m available for a coffee/beer/talk :D Hugs!

Here in Finland some are happy sitting in sauna by the lake, some just want to have fun downtown in the pubs and clubs and some just go hiking & fishing in the wonderful countryside we have here. All is possible, and you can do it all here. You wil have no problems to hand out in Helsinki, to most places you can just take a walk.
I see you like beer, that is good, one thing for sure, most here also drink lots of beer, cider, wine, whatever available, so you can start to practice ;-) Cheers.
