Hi there: anyone have any recommendations for a accomodation/hotel walking distance from the Verona train-station (arriving from Venice). It will just be for about 5 hrs sleep after the opera so anything decent will do. Grazie

Have a look at www.venere.com I always use it for Italy hotels (and elsewhere, when I can).
www.booking.com is ok too

Hotel trento is midway from Arena and Train statio. Nothing fancy, but thta's what you are lloking for, right?
Cosrso porta Nuova,a round n. 50 or so. Ciao Francesco
