Hi,
I was wondering whether anybody knows of anywhere to look out for the traditional Greek dancing in Lindos. I've enjoyed several Greek dancing evenings during previous holidays on other Greek islands, but when we were in Thassos last year we didn't see any mention of it. Having never visited Lindos before I thought it might be good to know if there was anywhere to look out for before we go on holiday. Thank you, Amy x |

"Greek dancing" as far as I can tell is usually a show put on for tourists. To see real Greeks dancing, for fun and celebration, maybe you'll be lucky to be in Rhodes when they have an annual saints-day festival... there's a lot of food and drink involved, and you can get in on it. Will you be there Aug. 15?? that's a biggie. Google "Rhodes Celebrations Events" or Rhodes Village celebrations. THere is usually something later in the summer.
