Porteno has helped me with prices in b.a. argentina--could someone compare the prices in montevideo to b.a. --what is the price of capacino. taxi are other items. thanks---

I was in Uruguay a couple months ago for about one week, and am currently living in Buenos Aires. In general the prices seemed to be relatively the same as in BsAs, perhaps just a tiny bit more expensive. I never took a taxi so I can't help out with that specific information, but really it's about the same as BsAs. Cheers.

If you are trying to decide where to go based on how much you'll spend, or almost any other reason really. B.A. is incredible..it's sort of like comparing NY to Detroit or something (I'm sorry if you're from there)..but you catch my drift. There's a ton more to do, among many other things, and it's got an amazing nightlife. I don't have a B.A. page but check out Porteno's - I think he has a great one. Good luck.
