How will the Paralympic games affect how crowded are the places of interest? (living in Mickey Mouse town I hate the term "attractions" ;=)
I have found decent flight and hotel rates for Beijing for Sept 13-19 - however my only hesitation in booking is wondering if this week is a bad idea. October is reserved for another activity, and I don't want to push the trip further down into September because I need some time before my October time. Any comments? Are these games much smaller than the Olympics, or is it a bad idea to go that week? thx. [btw, if you responded to my earlier post, I did discard my HongKong plan and will be fying in/out of Shanghai, but I am going straight to Beijing upon arrival, and spend a day in Shanghai on the way back] |
