As a follow-up to my previous question...has anyone stayed on the N. Shore during February? How was it? Seems that accomodations during that time are cheap...
One more thing-- how much is travel between Oahu and Kauai?? |

Oahu to Kauai by air is about 45 minutes. I went to Oahu in July last year but the temps are pretty constant in Hawaii. What changes is the tide/surf. You can check out my Haleiwa page for North Shore tips!

Oahu to Kauai, Lihue flight via Hawaiian Air varies depending on time of departure. Ranges from $65 - $90. You may get a cheaper flight if you book ahead.
BTW, Hawaiian Air offers travel packages deal with huge discount so check out their website. Cheers, Cher

February is the rain and high surf month on the North Shore. Waves can get as high as 30-50 feet at some locations on the North Shore Actually, living on the Windward Side in Kaneohe, February is a wet month. But, the sun does come out most of the time, so that you can enjoy the beaches.

We stayed at Turtle bay resort in Nov.07 it was nice.
