Not in Lebanon, as the recent fighting has scared them away. >also, i hope to travel to jordan, greece, egypt and maybe morrocco...does anybody know a cheap way to do this? thanx so much for any tips :) Your question is a wee bit broad to be answered in a forum. The chepaest way of transport is generally by bus. Notze that you won't be able to get to Morocco overland, unless you want to travel halfway through Europe first.

Main bus terminal in Beirut is towards the seaport road (marfaa), buses go to so many destinations.
Bus to Jordan was US$7 (yes SEVEN) back in 2001. I guess you will need a multi visa to enter Syria (if using US passport).. If you still have a lebanese passport I guess you don't need a visa, but I'm not sure if there's any tensions right now. Once in Jordan, you can use buses all around, and take a speed boat from Aqaba to Egypt (Sinai). From Beirut you can get a ferry or short flight to Cyprus, catch some crazy yound (and old) summer tourists in Ayia Napa (but don't overlook the real charming parts like Paphos or Toodros mountain...) Other options is to continue by bus from Syria towards Turkey, Bulgaria, Geece...etc. Morocco will have to be a flight, unless you tramp your way thru Europe and go there from Spain, coz heading west by land from Egypt is not a very well known tourist-friendly overland path. If you're on facebook, link up with such groups as: AUB (American University of Beirut), LAU ... etc and most likely you'll network with like-minded young travellers who might be of some help. Good luck.
