| Las Vegas | Sports Books - Wagers on Non-US Events? Posted: Fri June 13, 2008 02:51 PM UTC
Do the Vegas sports books give odds on & accept wagers on sporting events outside the US? For example, could I place a bet on who will win the gold medal in the men's 100 meters at the Olympics? What about something more obscure, like betting on Australian Rules Football?
Has anyone seen or had experience with these types of bets? Or do the Vegas sports books limit the action to the more mainstream US sports? |

No I've never seen any betting on anything outside US sports unless the NFL or NBA plays a game outside the country.Canadian football sometimes. There might have Olympic betting. I've seen the World Cup but no betting from any place else.
