Hello,
I am renting an apartment in Nice Oct 19-27 2008 (then fly to Paris for 2nts) Would love some reasonable great dining ideas. I prefer to dine where the locals are, and any great wine shops that any knows of. Looking forward to the outdoor markets as well. Appreciate any replies. Merci... |

Try the Opera Cafe at the end of Cours Saleya - pretty much opposite the opera house. It's a traditional cafe / bistro type place. Locals eat there, though you'll find tourists there as well. For wine, Les Caves Caprioglio, 16, rue de la Préfecture is something of a local institution.
