Province of Bohol bohol land tour

Hello,
I've been to Bohol already but this time, I would like to try another tour guide for our land tour. How much does a whole day land tour cost now and what are the included places in the tour? Also, can you recommend a good tour guide w/ van (or car).

Thanks!

I don't know about proper guided tours. However it is possible to engage a car with English (kinda) -speaking driver who will take you to a selection of places. Rate is negotiable, but expect around 2000 php for the day plus his lunch. Readily engaged near Tagbilaran ferry port. That's for a car which will take three comfortably, four less so.

The itinerary above will take 9am - 5pm. I particularly reccommend the lunch river cruise - it's beautiful, and the food is good, and at around 280 per person, it's a good price too.

But this is really only half the island. Basically I suppose you could get a map and decide where you want to go, then negotiate with the driver - it will obviously take more fuel to drive further.

Is there anyone here who have stayed at the Dimaluan Beach Resort? How's your experience? Do they have a website where I can see the rates?

Thanks John for your reply! :)

Hello Traveller735,
Right now, we are 4 in the group. Some others would also like to join but it depends if the cheap tickets are still available or not. We will be arriving Bohol at 9:30AM (hope the flight won't be delayed) and would like to start the tour by then. Here's the list of places we want to visit:

Chocolate hills
Man-made forest
Hanging bridge
Hinagdanan cave
Baclayon church
Blood compact site
Loboc river / tarsier
Bohol bee farm
Mag aso falls
Clocktower

Do you know how much will it cost for the van? or car (in case there are only 4 pax)? Thanks again for your help. =)

Hi, been in Bohol just last week and I'm having so much fun with my friends and colleagues. We stayed at Bohol Beach Club. Yes it's quite expensive but i think it's worth it. The place is SWEET! The beach is FABULOUS!
We had a great tour guide/driver for our tour, Spencer. +639285484881. We actually got his number from one forum in the net and his got the best recommendations amongst all and he really is! You may visit his website. It's www.boholspencertours.com.
You may also get some driver at pier and may probably get a cheaper ones but i think it would be very risky. Taxis are also available in the City but you have to pay double of the meter if you go outside the City. Tricycles are also cheap but it's going to consume a lot of time because they run slow.
You do need a van if your only 7 people and below.Spencer may offer you the Innova. We actually used it since we're only 6.
I Say Bohol is blessed with nature and of good, friendly and hospitable people but... NO NIGHT LIFE. Enjoy though!

Hello EVERYONE.

This is the most tragic experience our family had with the dimaluan beach resort. I LOST CAMERA AND MONEY. We were certain that these things were left in our room for a land tour. When we got back after our tour, I LOST MY CAMERA AND MONEY P 5000 CASH. Sad to say the manager, instead of looking for whoever was the incharge of cleaning our room, was not giving her support to us. She even told us, that its their RIGHT to enter the room and eventually cleaned it.

Oh my God, what a manager is she was. This is the first i met such person.... My friend is trying to negotiate the management so that this incident will not be happening again. We were not able to get the right treatment, and MIND you, you cant speak to the manager anytime... IF SHE IS NOT IN THE MOOD.

THATS WHY NO WONDER, in the front desk there were 3 posts... LOST AND NVER BEEB FOUND....

I wanted you to access those things... I AM SHARING THIS WITH YOU BECAUSE I WANTED YOU TO KNOW THE REALITY.
