This hotel and the beach are about a 10min taxi ride out of hoi an town, my opinion you would be better off staying in town near the market area and just go to the beach when you want. The beach has strong surf with lots of rips, otherwise its very good. We stayed at the Life resort right in town on the river, i dont think it was too expensive...good luck....bruce

If you have long time, pls enjoy sea and sand in Vietnam from the North of Vietnam to the South of Vietnam. Cua Dai Beach is nice one, there are a lot of hotels and resort you can choose, if you would like to stay at 5star hotel and resort, you can choose Golden Sand or Palm Resort, if you need any more information you can email to me at travelhanoi@gmail.com.

Good luck.
Moon.

There are a lot of nice hotels with very good rates in Hoian.
The hotels that listed in this website are for example:

Otherwise, you can search on Google!

Good luck!

Thank you!
The mater I want hotel at the beach. I will stay in Hoi An for 7 nights and I expect good relaxe: swimming in the sea, taking sunbathes and so on. If I choose right city in July - Hoi An?

I can't book 5 star resort hotel. Sea and Sand Hotel is not expencive. Of course it is not 4 star hotel. But I needn't big territory, big swimming pool, excellent cervice and so on.
I NEED clean hotel near the beach with rooms not very small and rather comfortable, with friendly staff and good atmosfhier. And I ask you advice if Sea and Sand Hotel has all mentioned?

I stayed there last October for 3 nights and thought it was very good value for money.
Not 5 star but very clean, modern, spacious rooms and a nice pool and location. Breakfast was very good although not the huge variety of the bigger places but something to suit most tastes.

It is right next door to the popular hoi an beach resort and less than half the price.

The beach is about 100 metres in front of the hotel but insist on a river view room as there is no ocean view from the hotel worth talking about. The upper storey rooms are the best as they have balconys overlooking the river which are an excellent vantage point to watch the river traffic go by of an evening (preferably sipping a beveridge).

A taxi to town takes about 5 mins and costs only a few dollars, I reccomend hiring one of the river boats from around the market area in hoi an town to take you back to the hotel dock, with a bit of haggling I got the trip for ten or 12 dollars for 4 of us, heaps cheaper than the hotels river cruise at 30usd a head! and without the tourist shops and hard sell.

Across the road are some small average looking restaurants, don't be fooled by the decor the food is cheap, fresh and delicious at all of them.

Also across the road is our favourite tailor Hoang Kim Golden who has done such wonderful work at very good prices on our last 2 visits, that we are going back to visit her again in September.

Hope this has helped you to make your decision.
