Is it possible to visit the Great Wall of China from Shanghai. If so, how long will it take to get there and how would I get there.
Thanks |

Well anything is possible! But it's a long way from Shanghai. Best bet is to get to Beijing - plenty of day trips from there. You could take overnight train each way. Or fly.

Shanghai is over 1000km from Beijing.
Easiest way would be to fly between the two. You can probably easily arrange a tour from a hotel in Beijing. Simitai is a good place to go, further from Beijing but less touristy and less restored. This is a good website with lots of tourist info: http://www.travelchinaguide.com/package/beijingbudgettour1.htm

Anything is possible as long as you have the money and time. Why wouldn't it be?
