Hi, as it's my first visit to netherland, I like to have a detailed map of Dordrecht and rotterdam specially iIlike to know the exact plale ( or address ) of shopping mal and deparment sotres, historical and sight seeing places of both dordrecht and rotterdam. Ans could you please guide me if it is better to bring EURO cerrency or bring US Dollar and change it to EURO?

You'll need to bring some Euros with you or the first thing you will have to do is spend time changing money. $US aren't usually accepted in Europe.

You should fine just to use your ATM card to draw money when you get there.

As said before using ATM-machines is the easiest way and the least risky. Dollars are rarely accepted here in the Netherlands.

About detailed maps and such. Each tourist office (called VVV in the Netherlands) has usually free maps of good detail and they can give you any inforamtion regarding sights to see and all that. Or you might want to browse around here on VT. There are several people with good tips at least on Rotterdam but probably Dordrecht would have a fair few pages dedicated to it as well,

Good choice to go to Dordrecht and Rotterdam. Get a taste of the old and new.
Just browse some VT pages and you'll find out the highlights quick enough.
In Rotterdam, just take the metro to station Beurs and get out there. All the big stores at hand.
The Rotterdam Tourist Information Office (ANWB) is right across the Town Hall on Coolsingel. You can buy a good map for the city center for one Euro.
