| Riga | Avril lavigne 2juli! good nightlife ey? Posted: Thu June 12, 2008 12:55 AM UTC
Hello there,
me and some friends are most probably visiting Riga 2.july, from wednesday to sunday. We're goin' to the Avril Lavigne concert 2july, anyone else who has the same planes? As told, we have 3days more to get a taste of Riga, where is the best places to go for 20year old youth, to meet other folks? Not interested in very expensive bars, where tourist meets other tourist :P, but places to meet other latvian youth's to see and taste other cultures =) Is the age for drinking 18year in Riga? Thanks for answers! |

Hi! You're welcome to Riga! If you already are 18 years old, you can buy cigarettes and alcohol. If you look too young, be prepared for showing your passport.
Sorry I can't help you with information about youth meeting places. Old Riga maybe. Have a nice time in Riga.

Hm, 21 years old is very uncommon. I suspect it is a kind of PR trick, which rarely followed, unless person looks like 14 years old. Some clubs can have face control, but unless someone is too drunk or too agresive they do not put any obstacles.
