We are travelling to Strasbourg from Prague in early August. Does anyone know of the bus lines that would serve Strasbourg leaving from Prague.

I'd suggest to look in to travel by train also. There is a night train from Praha to Karlsruhe that has tickets starting at 29,- for a seat, and at 69,- for a couchette. Definitely more comfortable than a long distance overnight coach. From Karlsruhe it's only a short local train ride to Strasbourg.
