Hello Guys!

Is anybody can help me? I would like to go to Greece on July by plane to Thessaloniki airport. My final destination is Paralia Katerini. How can I get there from the airport by bus or train. Thanks for your help!

Take the bus #78 from the airport. You have to cross all the city from East to West to find the Railway station or the KTEL bus station. Check the map of #78 bus line, it is in Greek but very clear and easy to understand.

The start-terminal at the bottom is the airport, the end terminal at the top is the KTEL bus terminal. KTEL is the common name for intercity bus services in Greece. The last bus-stop on the map before the KTEL terminal is the Railway Station.

Both KTEL bus and train are available to Katerini, but I think KTEL bus is more convenient.

When you arrive at Katerini, either by bus or by train, you can take a local bus going to Paralia. Ask there, they will show you where the bus-stop is. Paralia is a Municipality about 8km far from Katerini and local bus runs about every 20 minutes.

Hi, buses from Thessa to Katerini are more regular than trains, but the train stations are more conveniently located as u head for Paralia. Especially in Katerini you can take a bus from the station straight to Paralia, which is just 5 kms away!
