| Dublin | Comfortable and Stylish Posted: Tue June 10, 2008 03:48 PM UTC
I'll be in Dublin from July 1-7. I'm thinking the weather will be in the mid-sixties. That's all I know. Any ideas if it's foggy, breezy, rainy, sunny etc? How about dressing comfortably to be out and about all day but still stylish?

hi knowing irish weather for what it is you will probably experience all those types of conditions (with a bit of sun thrown in for good measure)
seriously though it is no good even trying to anticipate the good old british and irish weather cos whatever is said you will get opposite just go prepared with a raincoat or umbrella and layer up the clothing underneath - i would take a 3-in- 1 coat ( raincoat - fleece - wear together or separate ) and hopefully you can leave it in your hotel room as ireland swelters in a heatwave enjoy your trip julie

You should be prepared for anything, except frost and snow.
There is absolutely no guarantee whatsover that temperatures will be mid-sixties; they may be in the 70s, they may be in the 50s (and feel colder if there is a strong wind & rain). As with the UK, you need to pack clothes you can layer (vest-top/t-shirt/sweater/waterproof jacket, which you can put on and take off as required. You will certainly need to take some sort of waterproof jacket and/or umbrella and shoes which will be comfortable for walking in the rain. Remember that Irish & UK weather can change several times within a day, as well as from day to day. Nearer the time look at: http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/today.asp?zipcode=dublin which is a pretty reliable forecast site (with pretty icons). As far as such a thing is possible!

The weather in Dublin that time of year will be mild but as for sun or rain its a guess. all you need is a light rain coat and umbrealla just in case. You can still dress stylish Jeans and shirt would be acceptable in most bars, clubs and restaurants but if you are sight seeing i would wear comfortable shoes. For a better insight of the weather you should check a weather web site closer the time most will give a 5 day forecast.

Hi there,
I was there at the same time of year and I agree layers are the best. We were just fine with a windbreaker, not once did we have to break out a sweater. My favorite thing to wear is a workout/sweat suite, as you can take the jacket off, or slip your windbreaker on. Realy it is just to keep you dry, not warm. I was also there in Oct. and never had to break out a coat. Hope this helps. Diana
