Dear Elena,
I am really excited replying to this query, the reason being that I live in Nashik, with my wife and daughter, and have a factory at sinnar around 30 kms from the city. However I am a lot in Mumbai and live here as well as I have a place here as well. Now the reason I am excited about your query is because I would never have expected someone to actually plan to vist Nashik, which has never been on the tourist map of India.

First of all you have KK Travels, based in Nashik and only focused on receiving folks from the Mumbai Airport and dropping them in Nashik. They do full taxi service as well as take individual passengers on per seat basis as well.

Their Telephone numbers are 00 91 253 2320077 and 6562555 . I will try and post their email id as well tomorrow.

However one of my close friend in Mumbai who has vacation homes in Nashik uses a travel agency whose owner is Mr. Ganpat and Ravi is the regular driver. I can 100 percent vouch for him as I know him personally. His cell no is
0091 9373185382.

In case of any difficulty you may email me on VT or ranjit662@rediffmail.com

And yes it will be a priveledge to have the first VT meet in Nashik if you decide to do so !

I got to know an excellent driver and man...
His name Amin and he has a brand new Innova car. He knows Mumbai very good, has a very good English, and he is a nice man to speak with..
You can contact him by mobile:0091-982-021-2029, sometimes he is very busy , so the best will be to do it in advance.
He has a mail but often don't open it,
Please send him my best regards,

Roni

KK Travels near the airport will be the best bet as they offer a small minibus as well as a car if you wish to travel on your own. If you can contact them before you land here then it will be best to have a confirmation beforehand. The other option is the taxi from Dadar Station which is not so comfortable as it is a non airconditioned taxi and you have to share it with three other people. The fare is much less than the private operators or bookings done through travel agents. The train is the best option and cheapest too but then you have to go at the right time and book your tickets before you arrive here so that you have a confirmed e-ticket. You can travel by airconditioned chair car as well as sleeper coaches or even normal general class compartments on some of the trains that go to Nasik or beyond which is also not expensive at all. Hope you find this useful.

Cheers,
Aadil.
