Vanakam.
Does anyone know how far the Russian Market is from the Phnom Penh hotel ? Is it within walking distance, or if not, how much is the regular taxi fare there ? Cheers. |

Hi!
You can reach the russian market by foot, it's not far, but I would recommend the central market instead, or you can visit both. It's also at walking distance and you can find more bargains, plus it's very colourful! S

I'd say the Russian market is a bit too far to walk in from PP hotel in the heat and PP traffic. You could grab a tuk tuk for $2 approx (depending on your bartering skills) this time last year. Or a moto for 2000-3000 riel. I preferred the Russian market for clothes and souvenir typ things. Central market is less touristy though.

Vanakam folks.
Yes, I took a tuk-tuk costing US $ 3/- from Pnomh Penh Hotel to Russian Market. Enjoyed myself there, also stopped at this nearby cafe & enjoyed a beer & toasted sandwiches. Generally, we had a really good time in Cambodia. Cheers.
