Were there any Venetian Glass Makers from Murano involved directly with the Making,Supervision,or Planning of the Hall of Mirrors.

I believe that I read that Louis XIV offered some Venetian glassmakers a lot to get them to come to France and bring their secrets of glassmaking. The Venetians were angry when they found out about this and someone had the 2 glassmakers poisoned before they could reveal their secrets. Yet by the end of Louis' reign France was able to make fine glass and mirrors of its own. This information came from the book
