| Málaga | Help PLEASE Posted: Sat June 7, 2008 08:19 AM UTC
Im going around in a circle here, if someone can help that would be great.
Im meeting a friend in seville and the only flight i can find is to Malaga. The flight arrives at 19:55, how can i get to Seville from Malaga? I cant figure out the train or bus times and most importantly the costs, its important i know the costs otherwise i would rather find an alternative flight route. Also if i arrive at about 8pm will i have time to catch a last train or bus to seville? thank you |

Train times and fares are in English here:
http://horarios.renfe.es/hir/ingles.html Fares are cheap (in comparison with the UK) but the last train goes at 20:15. Bus is also cheap, but you will have missed the last one. The first available service is at 03:15: http://www.movelia.es/Venta/asp/Horarios.asp or go to http://www.movelia.es/ and search for Malaga and Sevilla. An alternative flight might be the best idea, if you can find one.

Have you also checked Jerez Airport? Also have you considered Gibraltar, I would say it is a bit way out from Sevilla, but there are flights from Luton and Gatwick using Monarch, BA and Easyjet. You would have to get a morning flight because the bus from La Linea (neighbouring town in Spain) leaves to Sevilla at 1330 and 1600. Its a four hours bus ride though! The bus costs 20 Euros each way.

I have travelled from malaga to seville before by bus, all you need to do is get to malaga bus station, it takes about 2 hours on bus to seville and its easy enough, i dont think you should need to change you flight route. Also you can get to seville from Marbella bus station also.

The problem is not the bus journey itself, it is the fact that the OP needs to get to Seville at a time when there are (seemingly) neither buses nor trains.
