Visiting Lyon from Budapest

Hello...can someone tell me how I can get to Lyon from Budapest? I don't know which airport (if I use an airline) to land or what form of transporation to take. There doesn't seem to be too many options based on my research but I may be looking at the wrong airports. Please help as I am traveling in July.

Probably your best bet would be to fly from Budapest to Paris CDG, then take the high speed train to Lyon right from the airport. Malev Hungarian airlines has a RT flight for $284. I have never had luck finding low cost carriers going and out of Lyon, but that is just me trying a few times. Karl

Hi,
another (to my understanding best) option is going via Vienna by Austrian Airlines or via Munich with Lufthansa. Both options about EUR 350,- RT
