Hi there,
Does anybody know if there is a direct bus from Maribor to Piran and if there is how frequent are the services and what is the timetable like. Many thanks. |

Your best option is to take a bus to ljubljana, then another to Piran. There are several buses per day to Piran. Piran is to small of a town for a direct bus from Maribor.

The Slovenian bus website in English is here:
http://www.ap-ljubljana.si/eng/ There is one direct bus per day on weekdays, leaving Maribor at 06:52 and arriving at Piran at 12:33. An alternative would be to get the bus to Koper, or Portoruz, and just get a local bus into Piran from there. Bus timetables will all be on the site I've given.
