I am sure that everyone will be pleased to learn that tomorrow, Friday 6th June, will mark the 8th anniversary of the River Princess being grounded on Candolim beach and it appears that there is still no resolution to the rusting problem.
This is now proving to be an environmental disaster, affecting the seabed and the remains of corroded steel regularly being washed ashore like pieces of shrapnel. The damage continues with every passing day and is gradually changing the topography of the beach. Will it every be removed?? |
