| Florence | Advanced txt for Museums Posted: Thu June 5, 2008 04:29 AM UTC
Good day,
I will be travelling thru Toscana mid Sept 2008. How far ahead should I buy txt for the Accademia and the Uffizi? are they necessary as is in Milano for Sta Maria delle Grazie? I wont have exact arrival dates which makes me uneasy about purchasing txts ahead of time... Grazie Luis |

Yes, it's better to bok in advance. You can do it by ohone and they will charge you 3 € (at least in Sep '08). Once you know the dates, do it or you can ask your hotel in Florence to do it; I asked them, and they did it (they didn't charge me anything).

the reservation fee is now 4 euros for both the Uffizi and Accademia. you don't need to pay in advance - call the musuem and give them a date and time of visit and they will give you a reservatino code. You pay when you pick up the tickets.
