Are there laundromats in Istanbul? We will be staying at two places, first in Sultanahmet and after few days will move to Taksim area. According to my calculations, I think the laundry day will fall on Sultanahmet. :o)

Below the list of Laundries of your requested areas.Also dry &clean shops can wash your clothes.In Turkey Laundromats not like in UK or USA.You give your clothes them and they wash them and give it back to you.You dont go to Laundromats and wash your clothes by your self.Cause Everybody have washing machings at their homes.

In Sultanahmet hostel area there are laundries for tourists.

But hey, why not to visit my place and wash them in my washing machine and see my plenty Israel pictures while waiting the machine and having Turkish coffe?

1. what if you'll have a queue of travellers with their dirty socks at your door?

First, I never offered to any VTer to wash their clothes before. But I host many travellers at home through www.hospitalityclub.org and www.couchsurfing.com You can my profile and comments of my guests there, my name is the same, AlperIst.

Ha ha ha, I thought yoo will put your dirt socks into the meachine by yourself, and after they will not be dirty anymore and I don't hesitate to hang and dry and collect them afterwards :)

Then let me know how many people you will here and when.
