Yes, it's worth going to. I love the aquarium.
Taking a tram is the easiest, but on a sunny day just walk (45 minutes). You could combine a stroll through the old Easterly docks on your way to the Zoo (The tourist has a booklet for the walk). PJ

I had to be there often, but I don't like it very much. I don't like it when wild animals has locked up, because the space they have in a Zoo is never enough. But I think it depends on what you expect and what you like.

I believe as PJ says the aquarium is nice but its pricey to go in & I would suggest London zoo is better as the zoo in Amsterdam is on a smaller scale.
