Perth -to SwanValley, a day tour?

Is it advisable to take the day tour or visit on our own by bus. Me and my hubby aren't a wine fan, thus we intend to visit the Koala, chocolate factory, wine yards & arts cultures. How much a normal day tour will cost? Appreciate some advises.

I doubt whether public transport will get you to where you want to go.

Hiring a car for the day would be a good option. It's not that far from the city or check this web site for tours:

Most of the tours are about $85.00 - $120.00 plus for a full day and then you have to go where they want you to go - if you are not a wine person then maybe this is not the way to go.

A hire car would probably be the best and would work out cheaper in the long run with you being able to see what you really want to see - and it's a nice drive too. I have done day trip driving and loved it.

The best way would be a tour...Public transport would only go on the main road then it would be difficult to see the best places.

do you mean join the local tour? will they provide two ways return?

any good local tour agent to recommend in Perth city if we want to go those area which unaccessable by public transport?

I cant recommend a particular tour as havent done any but there are many tours here.

cheapest way is to hire a car, doubt if public transport would efficiently get you around. If you cannot drive, take a tour.

Alternative Captain Cook Tours have a ferry that goes up the Swan River and visits several vineyards/ wineries.

Renting a bicycle and hop on the train from Perth to Swan Valley? Is it allow if
we carry a bicycle up to the Ferry to Swan Valley?
