How do we get the 4x4? Is there a number we could call to pre-arrange the vehicle, or are they readily available? How much is the current rate?

Thanks!

it's about an hour and a half in the 4x4 ride, then you have to walk for about less than an hour..
it's more advisable to have a contact of course, and also, ask them if the so-called 'skyway' is already fixed. coz when we went there about a month ago, we had to hike through a longer trail which took about 2 1/2 hours, one way. it was exhausting and we weren't warned. The skyway is the 'shortcut' trail that is usually used when going up to the crater. at the time we went up, they said it was blocked due to rains. you can check my travelogue, maybe and hopefully you get a better picture of the trip..
