| Shenzhen | Traveling from HK to Shenzhen efficiently Posted: Tue June 3, 2008 08:56 AM UTC
I need your help in the following: My office is in Shenzhen and I need to find the least expensive, internationaly flavored neighborhood in Hong kong, and commute daily to Shenzhen (Futian District). will Discovery bay suite these needs? (Internationaly community, not very expensive to rent a 2 BR appartment-Iassume..., etc. Is there a way to daily commute from Discovery Bay to Shenzhen (Shekou? Baoan AP? Can anyone recomend other places in HK that fit these requirements? Thanks!

What's wrong with living in Shenzhen?
I presume that you will also have a residence permit that allows you unlimited entries into China?

Futian is served by the new spur line of MTRC (formerly KCR) through Lok Ma Chow. So anywhere on the Westlink would be fairly convenient.
Bao'an airport is a long long way out of SZ city itself.

Futian has been answered above (quite correctly) but if you also want to go to Shekou at times then there is a bus to Shenzhen Wan which is the bridge that goes to Shekou. Then you need to take a taxi to your destination and it is probably wise to have the address in written chinese if you dont speak either Manadrin or Cantonese. As for Bo'an I would take MTRC to LuoHu and then there are shuttle busses to the airport. I dont know the cost of either but I would use 200 as a budget.
