Location - South Beach is a fun place day and night, beach and clubs and restaurants and water sports and weather (hot and humid).
South Beach has too many hotels , so if you are particular, you could check them out on the web.

Great fun place if you're under 30, but for only 2 days it will be fine for anyone. You can walk every where and parking is a BIG problem; DO NOT RENT A CAR! Don't forget that October can be hurricane season.

Writing in CAPS, only makes it harder to read and turns away a lot of posters on this website. However to answer your question, South Beach is definetly the place to be for food, beach, and entertainment.

Absolutely echoing everyone's input here.
If you only have a couple of days, then South Beach is def. the place to be. I don't believe however it will "only be fun for you if you're under 30" SoBe is fun and trendy for all ages. Loose and relaxed enough for those wishing it so, "classy enough" with it's upscale dining and wonderful cafes and clubs as well as "hip" enough for those wishing a fun couple of nights of clubbing. Additionally, during the day or early evening, you may take a drive (rent a cab) down the "drive" and even get to the Holocaust Memorial, to date one of the most moving I've see. Info on this on our pages. Enjoy South Beach!
