Turks and Caicos Islands Transportation and other questions
Posted: Mon June 2, 2008 09:44 PM UTC
Hi,
I will be visiting Club Med in a few weeks as a single woman.

How much should a taxi be from airport to club?
Do I really need to pack bug spray?
Is there a coffee maker in the room?
Is there a need to "dress up" in the evening?
do I need cash for anything? Leave the island? or other?

Thank you
azroze

Our family did the Beaches resort on Provo a few years ago (Club Med was down the beach a ways). We had a shuttle service which I would think Club Med would also have. The Island is pretty small, so it could not be much of a taxi fare in any event. There is a public shuttle, marked by geckos, that seemed to stop at most of the resorts. We went in June and didn't notice a bug problem. Cash for beer, shuttle, most of the stores took credit cards. Karl
